Coast to Coast Special Game
23 Janvier 2010 - If you have some spare time Saturday morning and if you love curling, you dont want to miss this special event of the 2010 M&M Canadian Junior Curling Championship. Presented at 10:00 am at the Colisée Cardin, Sorel-Tracy, this special event will showcase some famous curlers, playing „Coast to Coast Game‟ friendly ends. Many of these players have many things in commun, and one of them is a partipation at the Brier, emblem of the Canadian Curling.
Les amateurs de curling présents au Championnat canadien junior M&M vivront un beau moment de sport samedi, sous le coup de 10 heures, alors que plusieurs ex-participants du Championnat canadien de curling - Le Brier - s’affronteront dans des duels amicaux «Coast to Coast Game» sur la glace du Colisée Cardin.
These friendly confrontations will feature 4 teams, made of M&M Championship teams‟ trainers, members of the M&M Championship committee and the iceman, Jamie Stage. Each team will play 2 games of 4 ends. Interesting fact : each player will swap position after each end!

Quatre équipes de quatre joueurs regroupant des entraîneurs de formations juniors participantes au cham-pionnat, des membres du comité organisateur et le responsable des glaces, s’affronteront dans deux rencontres de quatre bouts chacune. Autre fait intéressant, chaque joueur changera de position à la fin de chaque bout.
Will team up for Team #1 : Kevin Kyle (New-Brunswick), Luc Chevalier, Championship Comittee vice-president , Pierre Gallant (Prince Edward Island) et Leslie Anne Walsh (Newfoundland/Labrador). On the ice for Team #2 : John Thompson (Ontario), Eugene Trickett (Newfoundland/Labrador), Branda MacMillan (Prince Edward Island) ND Ja-mie Sage. M&M Junior Championship president‟s, Guy Hemmings, will pair with Laval Bouchard, Earle Morris (Ontario) and Cindy Tucker (British Columbia) for Team #3. Lastly, Team #4 will consists of Rob Harris (Nova Scotia), Mau-reen Miller (Northwest Territo-ries), Jan Pula (North Ontario) and Wade Scoffin (Yukon).
Ces équipes renferment plu-sieurs grands curleurs. Entre autre, Pierre Gallant, Eugene Trickett, Guy Hemmings, Ear-le Morris, Wade Scoffin et Rob Harris ont déjà participé au Championnat canadien de cur-ling. Harris a remporté le titre de champion au Brier, en 2004, avec l’équipe de la Nouvelle-Écosse et son capitaine Marc Dacey.
